Why do we use “fleur-de-lys” on our logo?

Fleur-de-lys (also written as fleur-de-lis) literally translated in English means “flower of lily”. It has very old origins and is a major symbol of the French culture and history not only in France, but also in former French territories. As a sign of the French cultural and linguistic heritage, the fleur-de-lys can still be found on flags in many places throughout the world : Québec (Canada), Nouvelle-Orléans (United States), Port-Louis (Mauritius), etc.

La Francophonie

La Francophonie (French-speaking countries) is a fascinating mix of culture! You will be surprised to learn about  its full scope. French is an official language in over 29 countries around the world. Learning French allows you to travel throughout all these countries and engage in discussions with the local populace. It also allows you to add a very important skill set to your résumé if you hope to work in a francophone country or in international organizations working in francophone regions among others.
